We are looking for Summer speakers!
If you are interested, please email Jennifer Han ([email protected]).

Moments in Materials “MiMs” is a symposium held every summer at Columbia University. We invite undergraduates, graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and professors interested in Material Science to our forum to gather and interact. We aim to create a community which fosters communication and collaboration across disciplines. Speakers are given flexibility in their presentation, and may present a review on a particular field, a specific professor’s research, journal articles, or their own work.
If you are interested in participating in MiMs, please contact Jennifer Han ([email protected]).

MiMs is typically held on Thursdays at 4:30 pm during the summer. Snacks and refreshments are provided before the talk, and we encourage discussion after the talk.
