The Academic Job Market Workshop
This workshop, open to all, will provide an overview of the US academic job market and the process of applying for faculty positions. We’ll cover the logistics of an application package and the relative importance of each item along with suggestions for strong written proposals and oral presentations. A dedicated session will focus on applications for primarily undergraduate institutions. The workshop will end with a faculty Q&A panel followed by a reception on the Havemeyer patio. The event is meant to be informal, and participants are encouraged to bring questions.
