Gillian Minarik – Rising Star in Physics
Gillian Minarik, a fourth-year PhD student in the Zhu group, has been named a rising in star in physics by Newton, a Cell Press journal! Newton proudly recognizes and supports early career researchers as they establish their career in their respective areas of physics.
At Columbia, Gillian researches ultrafast spectroscopy, moiré materials, correlated quantum phases, and collective excitations.
